Your imported documents, notes, highlights, bookmarks, reading progress, and most preferences are stored locally on your device unless you choose to export or share them yourself.

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not intentionally collect or store the following on our own servers:

• Your imported books or documents
• Your notes, highlights, bookmarks, and reading history
• Your account credentials, because Yomiru does not require an account
• Your contacts, photos, microphone input, camera input, or precise location

Yomiru stores app data locally on your device to provide core functionality, including:

If you purchase Yomiru Pro, the purchase is processed by Google Play. We do not receive your full payment card details. Google may process payment-related and transaction-related information according to its own policies.

If you use translation-related features, Yomiru may download language models provided by Google ML Kit. These downloads are used to enable translation functionality on your device.

If the app fetches quote content from third-party quote providers, your device may send a standard network request to those services in order to retrieve the quote.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

We do not share your documents, notes, highlights, or reading data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

However, third-party providers used to operate specific features, such as Google Play Billing, translation model delivery, or quote retrieval, may process limited technical information needed to provide their services.

Yomiru may request limited permissions necessary for app functionality, such as:

• Internet access for billing, translation model downloads, or quote retrieval
• File or document access when you choose to import, open, export, or restore files

We take reasonable steps to reduce privacy and security risks. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.

Because most app data is stored locally on your device, you are also responsible for securing access to your device and any files or backups you export.

Yomiru is a general-purpose reader application and is not specifically directed to children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our own servers.

• Deleting imported files from the app
• Deleting notes, highlights, and bookmarks
• Clearing local app data through your device settings
• Choosing whether to use optional network-backed features
• Exporting or deleting backups you create
